Turkey has long been a preferred holiday destination for travellers from around the world. Better known for it’s sandy beaches, historical sites and bustling holiday resorts, in recent years Turkey has become a booming dental and health tourism destination. Thousands of patients are travelling from all over the World to Turkey every year to have their teeth work or cosmetic proceedures carried out.
But what makes Turkey appeal so much to international visitors for their treatments? The answer is quite simple:
Low Cost and High Quality
These proceedures are considerably cheaper in Turkey than in Western European countries, in fact clients can make a saving of up to 70% or even more in some cases for exactly the same treatments compared to Ireland or the U.K. The cost difference is solely due to the economic difference between Turkey and the west european countries. Both the cost of living and services are lower in Turkey, which gives Turkish clinics the opportunity to bring down their prices. Lower staff and doctor’s fees and cheaper medication as well as a huge value difference between western currencies (£, €, $) and Turkish Lira which means while European patients aren't paying high costs in relation to their own currencies giving great value for your money on holiday. Such big savings makes proceedures in Turkey affordable to people on all budgets and gives visitors access to various treatments that they may not have been able to afford at home.
However, despite the huge difference in costs, Turkish dentists, doctors and clinics aren't behind their european counterparts in respect of medical treatments and techniques. Turkish dentists and surgeons have the same level of education and training as their foreign colleagues and operate to very high standards with rigorous checks and strict regulations implementated by the Ministry of Health.
Visiting patients have all their operations performed in private clinics that are modern, highly advanced and equipped with the latest technology.
Being able to have their treatments quicker and cheaper without having to compromise on the quality of services whilst also enjoying a holiday experience are the key reasons many visitors choose Turkey as their dental or cosmetic surgery destination.
